Landing page or full website: which one does your business need?
A landing page can be enough, or it can fall short. How it differs from a full website, when each option makes sense and how to grow from one to the other.

When a business orders its first website, one of the first decisions is whether a single page (a landing page) is enough or whether it needs a website with several sections. However, there is no single answer: it depends on how much you have to say and how people search for you.
What a landing page is
A one-page website, long, read from top to bottom: who you are, what you do, why choose you, prices, reviews and contact. Everything in one journey designed to get the visitor to take one specific step: call, message or book.
What a full website is
A website with several pages: home, one per service, about, pricing, contact, perhaps a blog. That way, each page covers one topic and can rank for its own searches.
When a landing page is enough
- You offer one main service or very few.
- You are just starting and need a quick, professional presence.
- Your clients come mainly through referrals, social media or ads, not by searching Google.
- There is something specific to launch: an event, a course, a campaign.
When you need a full website
- You offer several services that people search for separately.
- You want to appear on Google for specific searches ("implants", "clear aligners").
- Your clients research before deciding and need detailed information.
- You have growing content: blog, case studies, news.
Advantages of each
Landing page:
- Quicker and cheaper to build.
- Very focused on action.
- Easy to maintain.
Full website:
- More visibility on Google (more pages, more searches).
- More room to explain and build trust.
- A structure that grows with you.
You can start with one and grow
It is not a forever decision. A good single page can later become the home page of a full website, adding service pages when you need them. In any case, what matters is that the design is built to grow.
What each one costs
At Nueva Página, a landing page (Basic plan) costs €349 + VAT where applicable and is ready in 7 days; a website with up to 5 pages (Professional plan), €499, in 14 days. So if you are not sure which fits, the cost calculator tells you in three questions.
And for what either should include, see what a home page needs.
What a landing page needs to convert
This kind of page works when everything pushes towards one step. At the very top, a sentence saying what you do and for whom, and a clear button: call, message on WhatsApp or book. Then the reasons to choose you, with concrete facts, and a few client reviews.
Next come the prices, or at least a "from" price, and the questions you are asked most. Finally, the contact details again, for anyone who has read to the end. In addition, Google values a page that delivers what it promises: its help page on landing page experience is written for ads but applies to any landing page. For button ideas, see calls to action that work. A good one reads in two minutes and makes the next step obvious.
Frequently asked questions
Does a landing page rank on Google?
It can rank for your name and one or two main searches, but it competes worse than a website with a page per service.
How much text should a one-page website have?
Enough for someone to understand what you do, trust you and know how to get in touch. Usually more than people imagine, well organised into blocks.
Can a landing page have bookings?
Yes, the booking calendar can sit on one page or several, depending on the plan.
Can a landing page cover several services?
If there are few and they belong together, yes. If people search for them separately, though, each deserves its own page.
