One page per service: why it helps people find you
One page per service makes you visible in far more searches than a single services page. Why each service deserves its own page and how to organise them.

A physiotherapist offers sports physio, pelvic health and dry needling. On her website, all three sit on one page called "Services", with a paragraph each, instead of one page per service. Someone searching "pelvic health physiotherapy in Leeds" finds another clinic first, one with a whole page just about that.
In fact, it is not bad luck: it is how Google and AI assistants work.
Why one page per service works better
- Each page answers one search. Google shows pages, not websites. A page devoted to one service has its own title, description and copy, all focused on what that person is looking for.
- More ways in. Five dedicated pages give you five chances to appear, not one.
- Easier to recommend. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity about a specific service, a clear page about that service is what they can read, understand and cite.
- Better for the visitor. People land exactly on what they were looking for, without scrolling for their paragraph.
What each of those pages needs
- A clear title with the service and, if you work locally, the town: "Pelvic health physiotherapy in Leeds".
- Who it is for and what problem it solves, in your customers' words.
- What it involves: what happens in the first session, how long it lasts, how often.
- Price, or at least a starting price. See should you show prices on your website.
- FAQs for that service, the ones people really ask you.
- A button to take the next step: book, message on WhatsApp, call.
It does not have to be a novel. Around 300–600 useful words is usually enough.
How to decide which services get a page
- The ones you are asked for most or most want to sell.
- The ones people search for by that name. If nobody searches "integrative myofascial therapy" but plenty search "back massage", adapt the name to the search. How to find out: keywords for small businesses.
- The ones with a different audience. If you treat athletes and pregnant women, that is two pages.
Meanwhile, you can group small or complementary services on a general page.
Mistakes to avoid with one page per service
- Near-identical pages with one word changed. As a result, Google sees them as duplicates and shows none.
- Empty pages with two sentences and a photo.
- Not linking them from the menu or home page: if nobody can reach them, Google struggles to find them.
What if my website is a single page?
A one-page website is fine to start with: who you are, what you do and how to get in touch. When you have several services people search for separately, that is when it pays to move up. Compared in landing page or full website.
How I do it
When I plan a Nueva Página website, we decide together which services get their own page, and each one launches with its title, description, headings and FAQs, ready for Google and for AI assistants to find you. The Professional plan, up to 5 pages, costs €499 + VAT where applicable as a one-off payment; see the cost calculator.
One page per service for AI assistants too
When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity about a specific service, the AI looks for a page that explains it from start to finish. If your service is a paragraph lost inside a general page, it is hard for the AI to find and quote it. By contrast, a page with its own title, price and FAQs is exactly what it needs.
In addition, Google recommends in its SEO starter guide organising your site logically, with pages grouping related topics. So think of each of these pages as the complete answer to a question. To see how those answers are written, read FAQs on your website. Every well-explained service is one more door into your business.
